How to pick a ripe avocado for the dip
Ripe fresh avocados that yield to gentle pressure should be eaten within a day or two.
For events, four to five days out, purchase firm avocados instead. Unripe, firm or green fruit can take four to five days to ripen at room temperature, perfect for celebrations that are a few days out. From: Love One Today® “How to pick and buy fresh avocados”.

Add 2 medium avocadoes to the bowl. Option 1:
Use our 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer to extract the fruit from the skin and pit.
Extract the fruit from the skin and pit by hand Option 2:
Open avocado by cutting it in half and use the knife to remove the nut.
Scoop out the avocado with a spoon and add it to the bowl.
Once the avocados are in the bowl, mash them with a fork until moderately creamy.
Thinly slice 1 bunch green onions Option 1:
First, rinse onions under cool tap water and remove any wilted part or cut off damaged green parts you don’t want. Cut off the stringy root ends and dispose of them. Cut off 2″ or less of the green ends to get a fresh green onion to work from.
Use the 2-in-1 Clever Food Chopper Cutter & Cutting Board to thinly cut your green onions right into the bowl.
Thinly slice the green onions by hand Option 2:
If you don’t have 2-in-1 Clever Food Chopper Cutter & Cutting Board, use your knives and thinly slice the onions. You can layout the onions in a row on a cutting board and cut off the stringy root ends and dispose of them. Cut off 2″ or less of the green ends to get a fresh green onion to work from.
Then thinly slice your green onions with a knife. Add to bowl when done.
