The mastermind behind these recipes is my mom. You may think that because of this relationship I am a bit biased, but the truth is it probably made me one of her hardest critics. This brand represents many different things for different people. For some it could be incorporating healthy foods at meal time, a diet, and for others a cure. I agree with all of these, but more importantly I see love and support with Farr Better Recipes.
I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when I was 7 years old and have been in a constant battle with the right medications and my health. My mom was at every doctor’s appointment and had seen all the pain I went through. When I was told I needed to eliminate gluten and dairy from my diet at age 16, my mom was right by my side to help me through the new journey. I have always been a picky eater and my poor mother had the task of trying to find meals I enjoyed and that gave me the nutrients I needed. After having just the meals alone I felt a new sense of energy and alertness I haven’t felt for years because of my medicine.
When I went to college I was so excited to be independent. To my surprise I had to call home just about weekly with new illnesses and symptoms I caught at school. After every call my mom was at my dorm with a bag of dairy free chocolate (the part I liked) and a handful of new wellness supplements to heal me (I learned to like these). After getting bronchitis, pneumonia, blepharitis (this is a real thing), swollen joints, rheumatoid arthritis, and swollen vocal cords all in a few months’ time due to my weakened immune system on my medication, I decided to go completely natural. I made my diet stricter and had to teach myself to consistently take the probiotics, vitamins, and other wellness materials my mom researched and gave to me.
I am happy to say that I feel the healthiest I have in my entire life. I wake up knowing that I am only putting good things into my body and can trust that I will go through the day without chronic pain and any side effects from that. I fully trust my mom and this brand because I know from personal experience that she has the knowledge and the love for healing with food.
On a fun note; I have always had a sweet tooth and my favorite part of these recipes is that you cannot even tell that the desserts are free of so many food allergies for people. For my birthday, my mom delivered a plate of the “Outrageous Double Chocolate Brownies”. My friends could not believe how rich and delicious these gluten and dairy free brownies were. They are truly free of everything except flavor! All her recipes are full of flavor yet safe for me to eat. I highly recommend you give it a try.
My wife and I recently discovered multiple food allergies that were effecting both our body and mind. The discovery led to health issues which created a dramatic lifestyle change or be forced to live in pain and depression. I first saw Lynette during her business meeting with someone discussing the development of Farr Better Recipes. She was discussing recipes, places to eat and various food allergies that her own family faced. I never introduced myself to Lynette at the time, however I did a little research and thankfully was able to track down Lynette to setup my own meeting with her and my wife. When you feel like you’re a ship in the ocean with no rudder and direction someone like Lynette can help you with the tools and provide direction. Lynette was able to help my wife answer multiple questions, relieve frustrations and provide hope that you can still eat out and make delicious food without specific ingredients. I’m really happy to see Farr Better Recipes success and wish Lynette and her family all the best in the future.

I thought the Creamy Turkey Stroganoff with Fresh Vegetable Noodles was very easy to make and tasted great. I would choose the Farr Better Recipes over any other stroganoff recipe I’ve tasted. I don’t have any restrictions to my diet, but I’m always looking for the most nutritious foods that I enjoy. I found this meal met my criteria for a meal that’s both delicious and nutritious.
Lynette gives us a wealth of healthy eating information in her delicious and abundantly helpful recipes. I like to buy organic food so I appreciated the organic listings, and all the many suggested ingredients and alternate preparations of the meals. They accommodate so many sensitivities & preferences for most anyone you would be cooking for. Having all these recipes in one place is so valuable, it’s easy to pick something new to try knowing it will be healthy, well thought out, and delicious.

As a diabetic, I have to find recipes that I can eat without the worry of too many sugars and carbs, making it “compliant”. I find Farr Better Recipes very easy to follow and good for me. I would recommend the Farr Better Recipes to anyone that wants to eat healthy.
