Farm to Table
This is a movement concerned with producing food locally and delivering that food to the local consumers. It incorporates a form of “food trace-ability”, knowing where the food comes from and where the origin of the food is identified to consumers. Here is a list of some Farr Better Co-ops.
You also may have heard some of the terms “sustainable agriculture, organic farming, free-range and fair trade”. I share detailed information about the importance of these terms on the website and also in our workshops and seminars.

A Co op’s top priority is to provide you Farm to Table products. Our local co op’s work with Minnesota Organic Farms and sustainable agriculture. Organic farming benefits us because they provide food that is “safe” for us to eat.
Now, this is the type of food you want on your table. Farm to Table meals is our priority to prepare in our Farr Better Recipes®.
My experience with co-op’s has been very educational. Every time I go there I learn something new, either from the well-educated staff or from checking out all the new products they present. I go into their wellness department and ask questions about products that will help give my family a better quality of life the natural way.
For myself, I am continually striving to be proactive instead of reactive with my health. Check back with me in 30 years to see how it turned out. I am showing great results already, so I think it will turn out really good!!!
Are you doing anything to be proactive instead of reactive? The best way to start is write down all the things you want to fix, improve or change in your life with regards to health. Then check back with me to see if it’s something we have already found wonderful options for, or check with your wellness department staff.
Take one step at a time, one change at a time and feel proud of yourself for doing so. Then you won’t be overwhelmed, just proud!!
Let us know about your experience with co-ops.
If you haven’t been to one, let me know, and I will let you know what to expect and how to make your experience a wonderful one.
Feel Good and Enjoy Life!!
