Italian seasoning originated in the Mediterranean, but nowadays you'd never be able to actually find it in its namesake country. Its main use is to mirror the flavors of Italian cuisine outside of Italy. From Chowhound

  • 1 tbsp oregano dried
  • 1 tbsp basil dried
  • 1 tbsp rosemary ground or crushed
  • 1 tbsp thyme dried
  • 1 tbsp marjoram dried
  • 2 tsp sage dried

Instructions

Add all ingredients in a small bowl and mix together thoroughly
